Panda Express - New Castle

I recently dined at this Panda location, and I must say, the food is consistently fresh. I noticed the staff checking the food temperatures, which adds to my confidence in their quality. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, and I tried the Firecracker Shrimp during this visit—it was fantastic! The staff is always friendly, and Sadaja, who assisted me today, was not only helpful but also greeted me with a warm smile. Just a tip: be mindful of the peppers—they add incredible flavor, but they can be a bit overwhelming if you have too much. Lastly, I was pleased to find that the restroom was very clean, which I always appreciate.

If you’re new to Panda Express, like I was just a few months ago, there is a monitor in line that shows the plate sizes, types of meat available, and the menu items. I found the prices to be a bit on the high side, but they do offer chopsticks! I ordered a plate that came with two entrees and a side. I chose Kung Pao Chicken and Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, and for my side, I had a mix of rice and chow mein. I really appreciated that she asked if I wanted extra teriyaki sauce on my chicken—YES, please! The flavors were impressive. The Kung Pao Chicken had a nice kick, and the grilled chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The fried rice had a great consistency—not mushy at all—while the chow mein was a bit on the drier side. However, I’ve found that’s common at most Panda Express locations. Mixing it with teriyaki sauce makes it much better, but on its own, it might not satisfy everyone. Overall, our experience at Panda Express was fantastic! The service was good, even with a bit of a wait, and the food was delicious. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, and we left feeling happy with our meal.

The food was quite good and reasonably priced, and above all, the restaurant was clean.
