Veganized - New Brunswick

Most delicious vegan place that I go to once per year because the prices are insane. Also the portions seem to get smaller every time I visit. I still love it though. Got this deluxe burger for 25 and I was definitely full. The prices have really skyrocketed over the years. I guess because everything is organic.

Wow. I am vegan, and I have been eating in vegetarian and vegan restaurants for over 35 years, and veganized has catapulted my top three of all time. I hesitate to say number one or two only because. but since they are in new jersey and I am in new jersey, they are now number one. first they have a nice room and the staff is all smile and greet warm. the dining room has a charming atmosphere. it's just beautiful. the menu is modern and hip and has a lot of products that will be comfortable out of old-time veaner as well as some newer types of food for repositioning on vegan or simply curious. I was offered a rehearsal of the suppe that convinced me that I wanted and they suggested the spears strongly that I would not normally order, because I generally do not like ‘fake meat’, but I could tell the water that was believed in them. So I ordered it and it was great. I don't sweat when I say they made it perfect! the grilled vegetables were made so perfect and keep the taste wow. oh, the suppe was delicious, but I forgot what it was. and I learned that if a good vegan restaurant offers cheesecake and they seem to know what they do, order it with all the means! (see photos) it was the hands down the best vegan cheesecake I ever had. period. end of the discussion. my only regret was that I didn't order any extra disk to go. the only part I experienced was I ordered rooibos tee and it was rooibos chai with spicing and so on. the menu did not say “chai” or “spiced” and I just wanted rooibos tee. but this is small and now I know and next time I will suggest that they change the text of the menu. but all in all I can not recommend them enough. simply excellent. what a pleasure.

The lunch order on a weekday lasted almost 45 minutes, when nearly 3-4 tables were occupied. of the mushrooms of the grill were charred and bitter, but I had little geduld to wait again. the bbq skewers and rice were well done. I love the ambiente.

We had such a delicious dinner tonight. Food was so good. Staff is very friendly, and attentive. We loved the whole place with the fancy lamps and the colorful walls. Thank you!

Today I spent looking for a new home in Trenton. I decided to treat us for lunch and went to Veganized. I'd been before never again! We ordered the pizza, sweet potato fries, Mac n Cheese and 2 orders of the Raw-zagna. The raw- Zagna is much too salty..but the kicker was the roach the made a year end appearance as we tried to eat! He blended nicely into the brown portion of the wall on the upper level. We immediately notified the waitress who came and swiped it with her hand. The roach fell on the floor and she picked it up with her hand and left the table. She then presented us with the bill as though she expected us to pay! We declined to pay so she went downstairs and got her supervisor. The supervisor came up and said , Hi I'm the manager is there a problem I said the food was way too salty and there's a roach crawling at the table. She moved us from the dining area and told us she could not let us leave without paying the bill. We were FLOORED! Then she said she needed to call her manager and we should wait. We agreed and then she asked us to come downstairs and sit at the bar and have a drink while she attempted to reach him for the 2nd time. She said, I can't let you leave until I get approval. We came downstairs and tipped our server very annoyed at the so-called manager. Lady- we were not in jail or some ISIS detainees. You do not get to DETAIN anyone! Very disappointing!
