Delta's Restaurant - New Brunswick

Had a beautiful time from the beginning to end!! However, Delta’s stated they they no longer accept reservations made on Yelp and wasn’t sure how I was able to book in Yelp, but they were able to accommodate my group.

Must say they did a comeback as my last visit in 2021 the quality of food and service dropped. What a great time I had this time around. The decor was new,the food was good even though some things still missing from old menu. Drinks were on point. My server was great. Music was popping. Now this is the Delta's I remember. Keep it up.

I have the appetizer with the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, the peach, barbecue ribs, and the catfish. The Philly cheesesteak eggrolls took the cake. The peach barbecue ribs could have been better, and the catfish was pretty good. For my entrée I had the herb chicken with macaroni and cheese and candied yams. The chicken needed more seasoning, the macaroni and cheese was mediocre, and the candied yams were the best thing. My children had the chicken and waffles, and was told the chicken tasted like it was reheated, and the waffles could have been better. they are sides were black eye, peas and rice, Carla greens, and green beans, they all could have used more seasoning, than was provided. The corn bread they gave you at the time of seating was really good. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Very very very very poor parking choices. And there’s a time limit at your table of 90 minutes. This spot seems like it’s designed more for adults being as there is no kid menu, it’s not kid friendly.

My Hubby I were seated upstairs in such a tight space! If I had any girth, that NEVER would have worked! My Husband ordered Dumplings which he said were FLAVORLESS overpriced! Delta 's has never disappointed in the past, but this experience was extremely disappointing! I ordered Turkey Wings Gravy which was also FLAVORLESS!! Remember, A Chef can make or break an Eatery! #Unhappy

Delta’s ambiance is great, I made reservations for my friend and I for a business/birthday meet up. Reservations are given a 15 minute grace period after that you are treated as a walk in so I highly recommend making reservations and being punctual. They stay busy so there is a 90 minute maximum time. There is also a bar that you can sit and eat at. We went on a Saturday night and there was a love jazz band and afterwards trending music was played. Now let’s get to the meat and potatoes. The food, service and drinks are great I highly recommend for a date, night out with friends or event/celebration.
