Carlee's Bbq - New Brunswick

"In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position above those who present their creations and themselves for our judgment. We thrive on negative critiques, which are often more enjoyable to write and read. However, the harsh truth we critics must confront is that, in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of trash is likely more meaningful than our dismissal of it. There are moments, though, when a critic truly puts something on the line, and that's when they discover and champion the new. The world can be unkind to new talent and original creations. The new needs allies. Last night, I encountered something fresh and remarkable at Carlee's BBQ, from a source I never expected. To say that both the meal and its creator have shattered my preconceived notions about fine cooking would be an understatement; they have profoundly affected me. Previously, I haven't shied away from expressing my disbelief in Chef Gusteau's famous motto: 'Anyone can cook.' But now, I'm beginning to see the truth in his words. While not everyone can achieve greatness as an artist, great artistry can emerge from anywhere. It's hard to imagine more modest beginnings than those of the genius now running the kitchen at Carlee's BBQ, who, in my opinion, is nothing less than one of the finest chefs in the region. I can't wait to return to Carlee's BBQ soon, eager for another incredible meal."

I stumbled upon this restaurant while taking a shortcut through town, and I’m glad I did! The food is absolutely delicious, so much so that I went back for a second visit. It’s definitely a great place to eat. The staff is also very friendly.

We used Carlee’s for our Christmas party catering for the first time, and I was initially hesitant to stray from the usual Italian fare. However, I'm so glad I took the plunge! The food was outstanding, and both employees and guests kept returning for more. I would definitely recommend them a hundred times over!

I tried this restaurant for the first time and the ribs were absolutely delicious. I will definitely return!
