Avery's Kitchen - New Braunfels
Avery's Kitchen
Description
At Avery’s, diners encounter a mix of experiences, ranging from delightful to disappointing. While some rave about the generous portion sizes and friendly staff, others criticize the food as mediocre and overpriced. Particular dishes, like fried shrimp and omelets, often fall short of expectations, prompting concerns over seasoning and preparation. Service inconsistencies also mar the experience, with reports of delayed orders and absent waitstaff. However, the restaurant does show charm with its laid-back atmosphere and the ability to serve breakfast anytime. Despite some positive notes regarding catering, the overall sentiment leans towards skepticism about returning for a meal.

Stumbled on this place and so glad we did. Amazing food... amazing service and the atmosphere so is cute!!! Megan, our server and I 'm sure I 'm spelling her name incorrectly, was such a sweetheart!! We enjoyed lunch so much the first time we went back for breakfast cause she said y 'all have to try breakfast! It was absolutely delicious!! Try it and I promise you won 't be disappointed at all!!!
My wife and I tried their omelets and they were delicious! Our server Christina is the best! Very nice and professional. Their slogan should be, Bring your Appetite. They serve big portions. We were visiting from San Antonio. My wife and I will definitely go back! Can 't wait to try their lunch/dinner menu!
I've been here a handful of times and have never once been disappointed with the service or the food. They are kind and attentive, as well as fantastic with their menu and any customizing. I can't seem to stop ordering the chicken and waffles, but I have tried my partners dishes many times as well. This is a must try if you are in the New Braunfels area.
Great service and great food. Food tasted good and was hot. The server was professional and I'm a big stickler about clean tables and everything was spotless. I'll be back for sure. Maybe my weekend breakfast spot.
I was so excited to try this place since it had such good reviews. I ordered the marinated chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes and a chicken soup. The chicken was tough and dried out. I could barely cut into it! I gave up sawing through it and just picked it up and took a bite. That was my last bite. It was awful. Beside the toughness and dryness it just tasted horrible! So I went on to the mashed potatoes thinking, no one can mess that up. I was wrong. They tasted like boxed mashed pot
