Stopped because we saw vegan options online. We tried the Jackfruit Grilled Cheese and the Pitaya Bowl. The sandwich was great. I loved that I didn't have to remove this or that to make it vegan. The restaurant floor was quiet messy but the staff was nice. The Pitaya Bowl had a ton of coconut. Not my favorite but it wasn't bad. We will definitely be back.
I was looking for a place with vegan options this place by far exceeded my expectations. You must not be in a rush when visiting this lovely restaurant. Service is a little slow if time is an issue order ahead for carryout. Our server Grace was wonderful. The portion sizes are just right leaving you feeling satisfied. This place is a well kept secret not overly crowded on a Sundayafternoon. I came here with part of my family after church so I was able to sample quite a bit of the menu and I must sayEVERYTHING I tried was delicious. The Piña Colada smoothie was quite thick with coconut shavings, caution for those not a hugefine of coconuts. Even carryout meal portions aren't skimpy. Will recommend to anyone looking for vegan or healthy freshoptions! Oh and how can I forget the 25% health care worker discount thank you for thinking of us.
Ok so changing to vegan is not easy there is only so much I could eat as far as choices. So I chose Vine and I purchased 2 collie flower pizzas which was half cooked, my daughter got a smoothie bowl it was nasty, I decided to get the stuff sweetpotatoes which I always get it was the worst I would not even feed this to my dog! When you spending the minimum of $40 onfood it should be tasty. I have been supporting this place since they opened. I have called for 2 weeks to get in touch with themanager no response. So disappointed, I didn?t ask for a refund I just wanted my food replaced. Quinoa is not supposed to bebrown or black!
We went here around 1430 for a late lunch during the week. Our server was nice but was very unsure about the menu items she also didn't know what cabernet was and there was few staff to ask for assistance so our order took a while! We ordered hummusand it was very strange and gritty and our vegetables tasted like they hadn't been washed. Our entrees took a long time toarrive, so much so that the server apologized and said that she's told the kitchen was had been waiting about 45 minutes. Finally my husbands sandwich came, however mine was about ten minutes behind his. When it arrived I let the server know that myside was incorrect. She apologized but then never brought the correct side. I had to go up and ask for the side I ordered. Itwas frustrating because two other people had come in, ordered and had received their food before we did. My sandwich was greatthough once I got it! I do not know that we will be back based on the service. We did find out that they own the place next dooras well and the service there has always been really bad, unfortunately.
