I read the recent reviews and have to say our 1st time experience here was wonderful. The pancake came with fruitcup and we ordered a side of sausage. It was very tasty, the pancakes were fluffy (see my accompanying pics . The Egg Special was especially delicious with the spinach wrap. The order came out quickly and the staff was very friendly. The variety of coffee hit the spot. We both enjoyed reading the various f... View all feedback.
What Zoé Sauvage doesn't like about Kitchen on Trent:
I wanted to order a typical breakfast plate, nothing fancy ... Eggs, bacon and toast. I was told I couldn't get that. I ended up with a sandwich that was smaller than a cup saucer. I didn't feel welcome there, I will not return. View all feedback.
For the first time loved the burned cheese thing. was a very small piece of bread with lots of cheese. reminded me how my mother gave me the boiled left over cheese from her grill cheese. was super
To this place was directed by a native. really nice family atmosphere and a beautiful selection of tasty food with many sittings. and always really nice to be greeted with a smile
I love her sampler salad where they can choose what they want. it is so healthy and absolutely delicious! I wish I could eat there every day.
So not impressed. my friend told them she was allergic to swirling when she ordered. When she arrived on the part of her, she thought that there would be wobbles in the vinaiigrette. she went back to the counter and asked. there is so she asked if she had another dressing, she was offered ranch that contains wobble powder, so she refused. then she was told there were no other options. while we eat their dished salad, their eyes turned red and puffy, we thought that the plank powder from my food caused it. she told a worker what had happened that she had made known that the guy at the counter did not seem to care that he had given her something that she was allergic. he's the owner. the co-worker then came back and took her salat, in which it was explained that the cousin had also swirled in him. that explains the eyes. the coworker brought her a new undressed salat without a cousin. Many thanks for this personal member, because the owner was completely unobtrusive about having a serious allergy and even knew he served their two articles that contained this ingredient. we were sitting there longer than we had planned to make sure that their reaction didn't get any worse before she got back to work. she had an irritation in her neck, but the benadryl seems to work. it must not have consumed any actual mist only that it touched, again thanks to quality. if they have any allergies, I would definitely stay away from this place.
I decided to try this restaurant today for lunch as I’ve seen good reviews. I WILL NOT GO BACK NOR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! Before ordering I ask the gentleman at the register if the Cuban lunch special had onion/onion powder anything to do with onion and he said no so that is what I ordered. When my lunch was brought to my table it came with a salad and house dressing, me knowing most house dressings are Italian persay I decided to ask for a different dressing they gave me the option of only ranch. Not a big deal I’m used to this and ranch having onion powder I declined. As I kept eating my lunch my throat started bothering me and I stopped one of the waitresses to ask once again about onion being an ingredient in my lunch and she quickly told me to give her my plate as the salad has cuscus and it’s made with onion!!! Once I told her I had informed the gentleman at the register of my allergy she went and spoke with him and he made no attempt to acknowledge me, my issue or anything about it and to top it off HE’S THE OWNER!!! Had I had a severe reaction I would have had to get an injection! I’m blown away the owner was more worried about the next dollar going in his register than a customers health due to his negligence!!!!
