Went for the first time the other night and boy were we impressed!!! The sushi was the best we've had in New Bern, no question!!! We had the sushi for 2 and it was fantastic! Beautifully done with fresh, expertly cut fish. The cherry bomb roll that was included was a delicious surprise. Our server was very welcoming, attentive and efficient. What Rubii Calderon doesn't like about Ginza Japan:
Okay sushi joint. Was very pleased with the thickness and quality of the sashimi for the price. However the spicy tuna is not fresh in the slightest, probably the most flavorless and mouth drying sushi I’ve ever eaten… didn’t know you could mess up such a basic roll with only one ingredient… Loved that some of their entrees come with miso soup and salad View all feedback.
The food is delicious and the customer service is great! The restaurant is located in a strip mall, but don't let that stop you.I ordered the filet mignon hibachi and my husband ordered the shrimp hibachi. The prices are good for the amount of food you receive.
Food is great! Service is usually pretty good until im sitting waiting at my table w my check ready for 15 minutes. Usually I would be like okay theyre busy.. but they werent and my waiter who was the septum piercing girl tan girl w black hair took a tables check who got there after me and also served and waited on a new person who walked in while im still waiting to leave. Had to end up getting up and going up there myself which definitely made me feel forgotten. Sucks because I love this place, I guess it was just my server for today.
Had a wonderful lunch with my 9 and 13 year old daughters the other day. Not our first excellent visit. The clear soup isn't my favorite in taste vs other local Asian restaurants but my other family members enjoy it. Everything else I've had tastes amazing. My picky family loves it.
Food is always great and staff are very nice. Always enjoy coming here. Never had an issue with a takeout order.
