Boathouse Grille - New Baltimore

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the far south. While it may be well-known among locals and yacht crews, it's still a great find for others. The venue features excellent indoor kitchens, as well as covered and uncovered deck dining right on the Hudson River. The menu offers a wider variety than you might expect, and the food is consistently delicious—I always make a stop here during road trips or when I return from northern destinations. The service is quick, friendly, and courteous. Even though it's a bit of a trek from home, it's one of my favorite escapes. I believe you and your friends or family will enjoy it too.

I've visited this restaurant twice. The first time was by boat on the Hudson River, which was very easy to navigate with convenient docking. My second visit was just three weeks ago for my surprise bridal shower, and you did an amazing job! The food was excellent, and all COVID guidelines were followed, making my guests and me feel safe. They have outdoor seating under an awning with a lovely view of the river, as well as indoor tables. The waitress and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The Boathouse Grill is clean, offers fantastic service, has reasonable prices, and the food is top-notch. We will definitely be back!

The service provided by the owner's daughter, Laura, was top-notch, akin to the quality of Nordstrom. The food was fantastic. We ordered steamers accompanied by melted garlic butter, a cauliflower crust chicken, a pesto and bacon flatbread, and a perfectly cooked burger. The drink menu was impressive, featuring a wide selection of beers, wines, and mixed cocktails made with high-quality ingredients. The view from the restaurant is stunning. I can't wait for my next visit to the North.

Came for lunch on the deck. View of the river was beautiful. We started with their Bangin shrimp appetizer and that was delicious. 8 Shrimps with a smoked chipotle sauce above them, I recommend. We then moved to the black steaksalates. I ordered my without the blue cheese crumbs that gave me the opportunity to get her house white vinaigrette dressing that I loved. The woman got her with the blue cheese and thought it was very good, but also liked my dressing. I would come back and repeat our food choices in any case.
