This is an amazing addition to New Albany's growing foodie scene. I'm making my way through the menu so far the spicy double soup and chicken 4 play have impressed (Psst they can do Gluten Free at this location just let them know ! . The portions are generous ! Very chill place and now open for lunch. They even do call in pick up orders. It is almost too good to be true, Y'all are lucky I'm sharing this gem hideout. View all feedback.

Stellar food. The tastes are phenomenal. A little on the pricey side for what it is, but is very much worth checking out. The very best ramen I've had dining out.
Stopped in after hearing about their $5 and $10 menu. Had Pork Bao and fingerling potatoes. Great food, good price. Definitely need to go back.
UPDATE: THIS LOCATION HAS CLOSED. NO DISRESPECT TO NEW ALBANY OR THE AREA BUT MIRIN WAS FAR BETTER THAN IT HAD TO BE. IT MUST HAVE BEEN LOW MARGIN BIZ. I WILL DRIVE TO LOUISVILLE BRANCH GLADLY. Below is original review: Had 2nd visit and can wholeheartedly give 5 stars. Considering that Mirin is in New Albany it could rate 10 or 20 stars. The Tonkatsu Ramen is on par with Japan style in Taiwan or, yes, even in Japan itself. It is crazy good from broth to ramen to the succulent pork. No Ichiran Ramen in New Albany?: Mirin ain't far off.
So good! Everything on the menu is either $5 or $10. The chicken thigh with greens was incredible. Will definitely be back.
