Was Heather Burton at Quick Dine a mag?
We were lucky to come across this little gem. My grandson and I had chicken lo mein, and my husband had chicken fried steak. It was very good. Kid-friendliness: The waitress said the next time we could order the lo mein with just broccoli so my grandson doesn't pick out the other veggies View all feedback.
What Iveri Fitzpatrick dislikes about Quick Dine:
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The soda was flat with no carbonation, and there was a hair on my Texas toast. To make matters worse, the cocktail sauce they provided had expired in February, and it was already the middle of August. When I brought this to the waitress's attention, her response was simply, "I don't know what that is." They didn't offer any compensation on my bill, which was nearly... View all feedback.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The soda was flat with no carbonation, and there was a hair on my Texas toast. To make matters worse, the cocktail sauce they provided had expired in February, and it was already the middle of August. When I brought this to the waitress's attention, her response was simply, "I don't know what that is." They didn't offer any compensation on my bill, which was nearly $20, even though I couldn't eat my food. I left without having a meal and I will NEVER return!
The atmosphere in the restaurant was decent, and both the dining area and restroom were clean. However, the service significantly impacted my overall rating. The waitstaff were cold and unwelcoming to us, yet they seemed to enjoy chatting and laughing with the local patrons. Whenever they checked on us, their tone was dismissive, as if they couldn't wait for us to leave. Their comments were consistently short, rude, and rushed. While the prices were average compared to other restaurants, the overall quality was lacking. If you have a child who tends to stand up during meals, be prepared for disapproving looks. This place definitely feels like a diner that caters primarily to locals. They seem to value their regulars and appear uninterested in attracting new customers. Throughout our entire lunch, we didn’t experience any smiles or full conversations. We won’t be returning. Additionally, if you are allergic to or dislike dogs, I would advise against this place. While we didn’t mind, there were several pet dogs wandering around during our meal. Just a heads up!
However, the food was quite disappointing and felt low-quality, especially considering the prices. As we were leaving, my granddaughter accidentally walked in front of the waitress, and I caught her rolling her eyes. This is definitely a local spot; if you’re not from the area, you might feel unwelcome. I won’t be returning.
