Beautiful place, stylish. The food is probably good, but nothing you would eat with children on a trip roasted beets with goat cheese, pork belly spread, etc. When we asked if they had something to eat for the children, they pretended to speak Chinese. We came when it was probably unusually empty, but the service was slow, confused and incompetent. Hipster embarrassment, I wouldn't give them more stars even in Karlín, nota bene on the Sázava trail.
Excellent coffee and cheesecake, but more expensive Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
When angels in heaven get tired of white fluffy clouds and streets paved with gold, they descend upon Bistro Ledce for green grass, calm waters, and a kind of simple, rustic beauty that puts the Palace of Versailles to shame. Just outside of Prague, in Ledce, among the pastoral charms of rolling meadows, cows, and paper butterflies, sits a barn with impossibly high ceilings and thick wooden beams. The front half of the barn is open to the sun, sky, and wind, and exposed lightbulbs hover from the rafters like fireflies. At the helm of Bistro Ledce are Katka Lada, two of the most kind hearted and gifted people you could ever meet. Their easy, natural charm can only exist in pure country air. They are a respite to both city folk and angels alike. At Bistro Ledce, comfort food is raised to an art. Supplied by nearby farmers, the freshest meat, vegetables, herbs, and dairy are brought together to make the tastiest of dishes. Homemade focaccia, soft and fluffy, tender roast beef served al fresco, and pork belly pate are plated with casual elegance. Desserts are equally scrumptious. The pear sponge cake and two kinds of cheesecakes are made with equal parts butter, cream, sugar, and love. You'll die and go to heaven... but hopefully not before another bite of panna cotta with strawberry sauce. Bistro Ledce is one of those rare jewels you'll find off the beaten path, or in this case, it's like finding a needle in haystack. Bistro Ledce is simple perfection. How do you improve a spoon? To Katka Lada, my most heartfelt gratitude. ...and OMG, that Citroen! Day Koo You.
I'm probably going against the flow with my review, but I somehow failed to discover the phenomenon of this place. Undoubtedly, the bistro is located in a beautiful location, but somehow all the charm ends there for me. I would probably like a bistro furnished with older furniture (school chairs, etc. as a pleasant addition to the trip and an interesting place to refresh, if advance reservations were not necessary and the prices did not correspond to higher-class restaurants. I personally would not choose this place as the only destination of the trip.
I found the place on the Internet and I was interested in its environment. Upon arrival, we noticed a sign saying that we should wait to be seated. Well, we waited about 15 minutes. The wait staff was confused, slow, and couldn 't attend to the new arrivals even though she brought one dessert to one table during that waiting time. After being seated, we waited about 30 minutes to order. There were two waitresses on the set, which is unfortunate for such a capacity. There was only half of the dishes to choose from and as I read from the reviews here, they actually only serve burgers, which was also the case in this case. For 300, I would have expected some quality, unfortunately the burger only consisted of a bun, a slice of iceberg lettuce and a handful of shredded chicken with some salsa. When I jumped to the corner for my son to give him the rest of this unbeatable gastronomy, the plate was already gone when I returned. On the plate was half of the bun, meat and cutlery in a cross. After a few minutes, a young lady came to ask if everything was okay. After telling me that my food was taken away, she apologized and offered me a piece of pastry. Honestly, I did not want to accept this offer, and therefore compensate for the food for 300, for a piece of pastry. I honestly expected, for example, a discount or something of similar quality . Well, I didn 't hear back when I left, so the problem was solved. The sad thing about this bistro is that it is better to have a reservation, you can 't order at the window, high prices and if you hit a day like this, you will spend time waiting here, which was obvious to other guests.
