Obnoxious manager 921102418 We arrived to have lunch and as my husband sat on the chair he fell as the chair was very broken, they must have forgot to remove it... read more Obnoxious manager 921102418 We arrived to have lunch and as my husband sat on the chair he fell as the chair was very broken, they must have forgot to remove it, it should not have been left for customers to sit on. He fell with a lot of people around and they were concerned and waiting to see what transpired. The young lad that worked there ran in as I thought for the manager and then rushed back out out grabbed the chair and ran off really quickly to dispose of it. We sat around waiting for someone to come over to us but nothing happened.. So I went in to ask for the manager and to tell him what had happened. He was very rude and abrupt and asked me what did I want? free food. I said an apology would be of help. He indicated that my husband was a big man which he is but doesn't have relevance to the broken chair, it was in a jock . The other customers were shocked at his attitute. They wanted to give witness to what happend, but he was ok after what might have been a nasty aftermath, but we had ordered a drink through out the embarrassment, we finished it and just left. A big thank you to the customers around at the time who happend to be Irish and genuinely upset for what had happend. And a big thumbs down to the manager who was absolute unsavoury obnoxious and unprofessional. The other staff were afraid to be nice.
