Tasteless, no aroma. So many good reviews but the bad all said the same. Its a shame as so many people recormended them.
Me and my wife visited in July. This used to be our favourite Indian and favourite restaurant in Nerja, with lovely owners and food to die for. We heard it changed hands but wanted to give it a try to see for ourselves. Out of the 35+ years of visiting Nerja, this was the worst meal I’ve had. The food was very average and the customer service was awful. I struggle to think of a restaurant in Nerja I’ve been to and not felt welcomed, but this was certainly one.
Went back here after great meal pre pandemic and unfortunately mixed review this time round. From the 6 of us 3 enjoyed and thought their curries were good whilst the other 3 were watery and tasteless. I hope they can get this sorted and start putting out the great food they did before
I have been frequenting Jaipur for three years now, and I would always rate it as having the best Indian food in Nerja. We ate there regularly. Don't know what happened in the last couple months, but it is not the same place. We ordered four chicken and lamb dishes that were all sweet and artificially colored. Spicy jalfrezi was bland, the balti lamb tasted the same as the chicken korma. In the previous years, they always made baigan bharta/brinjal bhaji this time no such thing was available on the menu or at the kitchen. Garlic naan turned out to be a soggy parsley chapati...It may have been the first time in my life that I could not finish my Indian dinner. Avoid this place. It is a shame to see what happened to a fine restaurant.
