I've been for a yummy lunch and decided to try breaky. I had nice poached eggs and happy to find a place that serves basic grain bread instead of fancy sourdough that you need sharks teeth for.Atmosphere outside in sun is lovely (if you can block out the traffic noise of the busy road). Coffee was nice but I'd finished it 5 mins before my breaky came out. I like to drink coffee with my meal. So bit disappointing on t... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Stellarossa:
First and last time to this place. Prices were fair considering the descriptions on the menu, until the food arrived. The breakfast burger is awful, the bacon was neither crispy or juicy, just dry. Luckily I got 1/4 of a teaspoons worth of mayo on it, thanks for that guys. Waiter not sure who to ask if they wanted cracked pepper, how to handle food, no idea how to serve plates. Fake grass courtyard was a little unner... View all feedback.
I ordered an omelette that was burnt on the bottom and lacked flavor except for the charred parts. The toast was extremely greasy, as if it had been dipped in melted butter.
The restaurant really needs to improve communication among staff. They got my order wrong and the coffee was weak. It was not a pleasant experience overall. Additionally, I only received half of the chips I paid for and my coffee tasted like hot milk.
The lazy and incompetent staff at Stellarossa Nerang serve overpriced coffee and mostly old, dry food from the display cabinet with unfriendly and entitled attitudes. Customers often feel like an inconvenience when approaching the counter. While occasionally a new, friendly staff member appears, they never seem to last long, likely due to higher standards for their work. Despite giving the cafe numerous chances over months of visits due to its proximity to home and eternal optimism, the reviewer confidently declares Stellarossa Nerang as having the most consistently awful service of any cafe they have ever visited. It is assumed that most customers, like the reviewer, go there out of convenience (near Woolworths) rather than for the poor service and subpar coffee.
I have been coming into the cafe for the past months to purchase a coffee on my way to work each day. It is hit miss the service you receive, of the girls are absolutely lovely but one not so much. I stood...at the counter for a good minutes with out even being acknowledged, the cafe was not busy and there was no reason for her not to serve me, when she did make eye contact she still did not say anything and kept doing what ever it was she was doing. I have never written a complaint before and I also know that my a day equaling a week is not much, but still no excuses. I will not name her but I would suggest some good old fashioned Customer Service Training might be a good idea.
Visited here for lunch last Friday and apart from the ditzy young girl not acknowledging customers waiting to order and then getting our order wrong not once but twice the meals were okay although the toasted sandwich for one of my friends looked over...toasted. Went back for lunch on Monday but that was a big mistake. The breakfast burger I ordered was so over cooked that I was lucky the bagel didn’t break a tooth! My friend was very disappointed with the breakfast wrap too. We feel these girls just need to pay more attention to what they are doing. Not consistent in their service or food
