We had great meals... and the dessert was so good that we repeat it. The beer was good but I would like to have more variety! The fire place give's the cosi environment that I loved. The staff really great!! View all feedback.
This is separated from the main restaurant of the hotel on purpose, due to being specialized mostly on cheese specialties (fondue, raclette) therefor some people might be not that happy with the smell in the evenings. We had a very nice lunch though here, friendly service, good food. The only thing really bothered us was a couple of hotel guests who decided to have lunch right out of the SPA in their bathrobes and slippers, which was a bit unnerving not to say disgusting.
Food was good but some dishes too expensive. Service was very slow and we had to wait a long time to get our food. The place is nice.
We visit Nendaz to ski annually and were lucky to spend almost 3 weeks here last summer. We have never eaten at this restaurant before and I regret this now. I think that the reason we hadn’t been here before was that the hotel can give the impression of being very formal and austere. Nothing could be further from the truth. From the moment of booking the hotel receptionist walked through to the restaurant with me to my husband’s phone call when we were running about 40 mins late, to the service of our meal NOTHING was too much trouble for the staff and we were treated like royalty. We had superb service from Francois Gomez and his team, who explained all of the regional dishes and helped us to make our choices. Our daughter (9) ate from the children’s menu which was very reasonably priced. She is a very particular eater and was very happy to find pasta with a very simple tomato sauce on the menu. Our son (16) was guided towards a fondue which included mushrooms. He really loved this and was really pleased with the advice from Francois. My husband and I chose Raclette which we had first tried last summer. Francois explained the system which signals to the staff whether you are ready for more Raclette or are having a break. Great fun and if you have never tried this you must. Many restaurants in Nendaz need you to book a day in advance for Raclette or book for a minimum of 2 people, so it is worth noting that at this restaurant you don’t need to. Although expensive, prices are competitive too. For dessert we all had Chocolate Fondue which I could happily eat all over again. A lovely evening. Thank you to ALL of the staff.
Ausser Raclette und Fondue kein vegetarisches Menü... nicht zeitgemäss für so ein Etablissement. Nettes Personal.
Toller Abend mit einem leckeren Fondue Wir haben ein Tomatenfondue gegessen, es war fantastisch! Das Ambiente ist sehr toll. Sehr zentrale Lage direkt neben der Eisbahn im Zentrum von Nendaz.
