The Rose Garden Cafe - Nelson

What a little gem this place is! The best onion rings I've had in a long time. The kids at all their food, total bonus. I loved my tofu tacos and we were able to eat at a picnic table in front of the playground so when the kids were done we didn't have to rush to finish or deal with crazy kids at the table. Friendly service too!

A great place to enjoy a Meal or Ice Cream right in the park by the beach if you dont feel like a packing a picnic!

Lovely in the summer (only open then) to sit in the park and enjoy a Pannini with Yam fries, oh so healthy.

The Rose Garden is a seasonal restaurant located in Lakeside Park in beautiful Nelson BC. The food is fabulous, healthy choices and a wide selection for a smaller restaurant. Whether you are in the park for play or attending a local event the ease of food choices is lovely. The french fries are some of the best in town and it is always nice to have an ice cream cone on a hot day. Burger, wraps, choices galore. Have never been disappointed.

We had a salad and a hot dog. They were so good. We will make a point of going to this restaurant every time we visit Nelson. The ambiance, the food, the decor and the service are all perfect for the location.
