What User doesn't like about River Kitchen:
Today our service was lackluster, laboured and appeared like she couldn't be bothered. Obviously the head chef was on their day off as food wasn't much better. One month ago I gave a five star, service was bright and enthusiastic and quick, the food was delicious, everything was great. What happened? View all feedback.

read moreNestled by the river, this café offers a charming ambiance and delicious food, although service experiences vary. Patrons rave about the generous portions and standout dishes like the Eggs Benedict and smoked fish potato cakes, alongside excellent coffee. While some found the service friendly, others noted inconsistency, especially during busy times. Though the location enhances the experience, opinions on food quality occasionally fluctuate, with some items deemed average. Overall, this spot maintains a solid reputation, attracting repeat visitors with its seasonal menu and vibrant atmosphere, making it a worthwhile stop for breakfast and brunch enthusiasts.
As far as breakfast places go, for me it is hard to hit river kitchen! and this place is. they guessed it was a flow and in nz when they were on the water.
