The Oar On Lake Petenwell - Nekoosa

My neighbors and I travel around the area to dinner at various dinner clubs. Last Friday we visited The Dirty Oar. It was about an hour drive to get there, but it is worth traveling the distance! The service was warm and welcoming. Our servers Juan and Sarah, treated our group of seventeen gracious and efficient. Colleen, one of the owners gave us an interesting overview of the history of the restaurant and its own personal history about it. We felt like family! The food was excellent! The fish frit was excellent, the pecan crust Walleye, the shrimp, the salmon, and the loaded 16 ounces Ribeye were very enjoyed! They were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented! They offer a lubricated sweet potato that was the perfect blend of sweet and hearty. The drinks, especially the old fashions were excellent! We give Dirty Oar high brands!
