Service was insanely slow Takes forever for any thing Food was edible but that's the best I would say

Irrevocably broken. Waited 90 minutes for lunch that never came (and it was a cold crab salad)! Maybe they should just be a bar and scrap the kitchen altogether. Too bad as it has a nice location. Good front of the house bartender who was friendly and competent and seemed to know all the locals.

We visited the Lure Bar and Grill on March 19th at 4:30 pm for and early dinner. It was our first time here. Nice atmosphere and roomy with great views of Lake Petenwell. We were met by the manager, Dan, who was friendly, good conversationalist, and all around super nice guy. I ordered a **** Mary and being a self professed guru of **** Mary's, I deem this an A+. We ordered the Chips and cheese for an appetizer, a bowl of chili, a Rueben sandwich, and the Cuban sandwich. The homemade chips were hot and huge. Very good compliment to the meal. My chili was some of the best I've ever had in a restaurant. My wife's Rueben was massive with a same amount of fries. She gave it a thumbs up. My Cuban sandwich with fries did not disappoint in flavor, size or tenderness. And to add, with these meals, you will not go away hungry. Hats off to Dan and his staff. We will definitely return and pass our likings on to our friends and neighbors.

Paid $15 for 12 tiny popcorn shrimp on the bodes boom shrimp appetizer and my son got the kids menu sausage pizza for $11 it was a $2 Roma frozen pile of yuk!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!

We are local, we love going to the lake, great location to dock the boat and have a nice lunch or dinner, BUT.... Maybe they want people to stay and have breakfast too, because takes literally hours to get served and be able to leave. Totally outrageous waiting time, not once or twice as a fluke, new servers, etc.... it seems to be the norm , funny thing is that the drinks are very fast to come by, the food is what takes for ever, so is that their strategy to make you spend more? Well, thanks but no, we will not come back and we do not recommend this place unless you have 4 hrs to waste.
