Tried the world famous post roast in both forms. Skillet and dinner. It was good! But not the best I'd had. Tried to swap out a baked potato on the dinner as you can tell it was missed. Glad we stopped Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awesome experience as a solo diner.... Friendly staff (thanks for looking after me Lori), amazing comfort food, and no rush to get me to leave. Pot roast was great with homemade mashed potatoes gravy, plus green beans. The cheddar biscuit didn't needany butter and wasn't sweet at all. The peach pie was warmed perfectly with a flaky crust, firm peaches, and a not too sweetfilling... I don't need ice cream with pie, but you can get it if you really want it (not necessary). Oh... And there was wine????, if you're like me and don't like beer ????. Will be back to try other dishes for sure!
Stop here for a meal if you traveling the I-40. One of the old Route 66 buildings with an old west flair. Food is great and staff is friendly. Prices are inexpensive. They still serve open-face sandwiches like the old days. You can get cheap gasolineand diesel in Arizona, but this place is worth a food stop.
