Was Anonym at Winthrop Arms a mag?
at winthrop arms and fans of this restaurant we are frequent diners. the cuddly were excellent, fresh and crispy as always. my man loved his tuna steak. I didn't have her chicken pot pie in a long time and scratched her. However, I must say that it was for the first time in all the times I ordered it was quite salty. I was disappointed when I look forward to it. I mentioned it on our server when I thought she would w... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Winthrop Arms:
I have the best rib. there was no bone. I'd rather have a bone. would not buy it without bones. Cartoasts with potato from maische were luke warm in kartoffeln with prime rib must steam hot with butter. I could come back, I don't know, but the little things are the dings that count. they are extremely busy they probably don't need my business anyway thank you View all feedback.
I've been to the restaurant in the last few weeks. Ed is absolutely fantastic from the time you arrive until you ask for your bill. Ed does a fantastic job to make the drinks and he goes out his way, keep us customers happy and it's always such a wonderful pleasure to see Ed every time I visit this wonderful restaurant. The chicken fingers and onion rings were delicious and so delicate. My hats for a wonderful cook.
Four years ago I sauntered into the lobby of the Winthrop Arms hotel and was immediately transported to 1916 by the timeless decor of the lobby. An immediate sense of history amazed me like going to an antique shop that was still actively functional.I was greeted with Hi doctor by a man who radiated genuine charm. This guy is the owner Dave who I found out later is the legendary owner. A thought occurred to me.This is either a Sixty Minutes or a Sunday morning story. The dining room is even more spectacular but the oak refrigerator Dave ressurected is the focal point in my opinion.Service was great and the Doc's chicken pot pie is the signature dish fine dining with a taste of early nineteenth century interior design at no extra charge.Five stars across the board.
Amazing customer service. My two year old and I had an early cross country flight from Logan and we had to leave the hotel at about 5AM. My little guy was mid-meltdown so I hustled out of the room...and forgot his one-of-a-kind blanket that he always sleeps with. I realized as we were sitting on the tarmac waiting to take off...I was distraught....I messaged the hotel and they responded quickly and they worked with me to get the blanket shipped to me! Now my toddler is reunited and all is well again. These guys went above and beyond! As for the location itself, it's a wonderful old hotel and restaurant/bar with lots of charm. Near the water and the airport (without being insanely expensive like other hotels with airport proximity).
This place was great. It's up on a hill top with a great view of the ocean. We went to a banquet here and this place delivered. The food was so good. They make an amazing crusted haddock. The service was great. Everyone was super friendly and prompt. Thebar made really good drinks. I definitely am coming back next year. A must stop place if you are in the area!
The staff was definitely professional and attended to us in the timely manner. We begin with the appetizers that were out of this world, moved on to the entrees which were very delicious very fresh. Debating on whether or not to get dessert individuallybecause of course we were also full we decide to indulge in one dessert and split it, it was simply scrumptious. In addition tothe professional staff and the delicious food the atmosphere was perfect I recommend the Winthrop arms to anybody who wants avery relaxing dinner near the beautiful ocean, conveniently located in Winthrop Massachusetts which is about 5 minutes fromBoston. Enjoy!!!
