In the middle of nowhere which is the appeal. Highway almost all the way. Very chill atmosphere. Higher prices this is more classy than cheap for sure. Kid friendly with tree adventure area to wear out the kids. Loop around property for walking/hiking and near a state park. Rooms were cute with a nice view of trees and property. What NE Sandhiller doesn't like about Lied Lodge Conference Center:
Rather than book our room online, I called the Lodge to speak with a reservation specialist about our stay. Both my mother and I have mobility difficulties, so I specifically requested our room be the closest possible to the front desk. I was promised it would be. Gorgeous place! Beautifully decorated, very peaceful, and restful. The breakfast was delicious. Loved every minute there.
Wonderful place to visit. The views are amazing, and there is so much to see and do on the property. Highly recommend visiting at least once!
We have been Arbor Day members for 40+ years. Finally, I had a chance to actually have a great meal at Lied Lodge. We were not disappointed. Thank You
A prime spot for vacation and get aways. Great service at the Timber Restaurant and a super pool and fitness area. This was a birthday celebration and he had a super time.
This was a bucket list location to visit. What a treat. Beautiful setting with gorgeous architecture of large timbers. Beautiful seating chairs and rockers in the lobby. Outside is a large fire pit and multiple walking trails. Could sit in the fourth floor hotel room and look over the canopy of forest stretching out. Bird song in the air. Truly a treat for a getaway and spirit respite!
