What john lloyd doesn't like about The Colliers:
Used to be a great pub, really gone downhill recently though, mould and damp on the walls, barmaids gossiping on the phone and drinking behind the bar, landlord doesn't seem that interested in running the place properly, wouldn't recommend. View all feedback.
I had a pint of orange juice and lemonade and danced like everyone was watching ...5*
Friendly atmosphere and always good live music venue.
With an atmosphere that is reminiscent of days gone by, in big city industrial areas, it is well suited to those who prefer 'no frills ' and the freedom have a few beers with friends and workmates. The beer is well kept and the prices are very reasonable. Live music is offered most nights, a jukebox takes up the role, the rest of the time. Plenty of space and easy to view TV ensures that, whatever sport is being shown, can be seen from anywhere in the open plan space. Not ideal for a romantic evening, but I can imagine a good, lively time being had.
Came to see the Ska Monkeys who were awesome, all the staff and locals were so friendly, we traveled from Porthcawl and felt very welcome ???
