Zinga - The Taste of Kokan

This restaurant is hidden away in a corner just a minute from Inorbit Mall in Vashi, making it easy to miss. It was recommended by a friend for its authentic Malvani cuisine and it did not disappoint. The Alu Wadi, Valache Birde, and Wade/Bhakri with Sol Kadi were all delicious and tasted authentic. In terms of seafood, we tried the Bombil Rawa Fry (a great finger food starter) and the Pomfret Fry, both of which were tasty. The Surmai Malvani Masala and Prawns Goan Curry were also very good and paired well with the Steam Rice and Bhakri. The prices are reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food. The staff is polite, although they could benefit from more knowledge about Malvani food, given that it is their specialty.

The fish thali here is the best I have ever had. Even the lounge is a good place for a small get together. Amazing Food!!!

This place is a must visit for Seafood thalis.Thali with whole masala fried pomfret with seafood curries n soft Bhakaris(steamed rice flour rotis) at a very very decent price tag.its a small place but seafood lovers must visit.

My first visit to Zinga was through my Friends Retirement Party.He called me to attend his party at Zinga at Navi Mumbai.I heard from my common friends that it's Authentic Malwani Food Restaurants. We mate their at evening before party start with Hotel Manager and Chef both were from Kokan and very Cooperative. I just asked him about his speciality and he has given us some guidance.He told us today is Friday and today till Sunday he has to stay near by Hotel as he won't get time to go as he was staying distant western suburbs. I planned our menu after discussing with our friend.We were in all 25 person 20 veg and 5 Nonvege. First we order starter 2 Kabab platter and 2 Zinga tawa fried and for Veg Veg platter.For main course Malwani Chicken Masala and Prawns curry, Suramai tawa fry for Veg Paneer Masala and Veg Crispy. Tandalachi Bhakari and plain rice. Starter we receive Kabab platter come with roasting Aroma though time was just 8.00 pm this aroma has make us hungry. Each one get sufficient quantity of Kabab though starter were tasty and mouthwatering there was only munching sound and plate n spoon sound.Prawns Tawa fry was fresh and Tangy.All starter were finished in no time.Again we order for Kabab platter.Kabab were of 5 type Shik Kabab Chicken Tikka Masala Chicken pahadi Tangadi Kabab all are juicy and fleshy with right cooking.Though we feast on Starter we ate little of Main course Surmai fry was shallow fried and Masala was tangy. Prawns curry was superb.I tried small portion of Veg it was above the mark.Overall a nice place for a meal with friends

We received excellent service at the restaurant. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious. We tried soul kadhi for the first time and absolutely loved it. The combination of bhakhri and chicken malwani was especially tasty. The ambience was decent. They also offer valet parking.
