My 1st visit to a place that has been around for more than two decades. The myths says, older the place, customer's are taken for granted.<br/ <br/ This is not that place for sure. You are greeted and treated, with so much warmth, that you feel you are the 1st person to walk-in.Everything about the place is just awesome.<br/ <br/ Must try crab cakes, hummus, seared salmon.Loved it thank you.

The interiors give it a Mediterran... read more One of the most classy and certainly the best restaurant for Continental food, Olive Bar Kitchen makes every visit memorable. The interiors give it a Mediterranean feel which makes it a popular hangout for the who's who of the city. Service is quick and efficient. Someone is always checking on you to ensure that you get any necessary help in selecting the menu. We were there early on a Thursday evening and were seated inside the restaurant. With a couple of beers, we ordered Watermelon and Feta which was good for a starter. The Sole mustard and NZ lamb chops were well made and proved to be great delicacies. They recommended Tuna to us which they said was the specialty of the day. We went with their suggestion and were simply delighted. For the main course, we tried Salmon, Duck breast leg and Roast chicken. I loved the grilled Salmon, and my friends said the Duck was delicious too. We had to leave early and it's a shame we could not be around for the Thursday night celebrations.

I highly recommend trying the pasta as the taste was excellent. The pizza crust was also very tasty.
