Great was our relief when we... read more We stopped off for lunch on our way back from Covadonga. The reviews were great but we were worried that we would not get a table. Great was our relief when we were told we could have a table... We did not have starters, we ordered the fabada and half a cheese steak(like cachopo or schnitzel) portion. The portions are huge and it was almost too much. The fabada was rich and velvety as it should be. The flavours were well developed and there were copious amounts of meat. The steak melt was all it promised to be in the other reviews, tender meat, just enough cheese and very well cooked. The fries were handcut too and perfectly cooked. The two main meals definitely delivered and we give ut 10/10. We ordered rice pudding for dessert and it too, was delicious! We could not fault this meal at all. Highly recommended but if you go in summer, be sure to make reservations, well in advance! Also, parking is VERY restricted. Do not expect to find a spot during peak hours.

We had small fries fish and Fabda wich was excellent. We recommend the Cordon Bleu. Wearth a stop.
