Daruma Satelite - Naucalpan de Juárez

Daruma's Satelite location is a large, modern space where you can choose regular or teppanyaki grill tables. We sat at a teppanyaki space. Service was attentive in general except for one employee who roughly bumped my dining companion while passing by and didn't bother to acknowledge his rudeness in any way. The grill-fried garlic was delicious, perfectly crisp and light. The teriyaki veggies with fried rice on the grill were well seasoned and generously portioned. Non grilled items were less successful. The dragon roll was too moist with a mango exterior sloppily applied. The scallop skewer consisted of tiny scallops with way too much breading. The menu is extensive so perhaps we just chose some duds but I would avoid the sushi. There are better Japanese joints in the DF area for the money, so this is a one and done for me.
