I thought it was poor value for the money. The ravioli was good/very good but everything else was ordinary to poor. The glass of wine I had takes the wooden spoon for the worst glass of Italian wine I have ever had, both in Australia and Italy. The setting is very pedestrian. This is the second time we've been. Possibly the best food I've ever had each time. Excellent service, lovely setting, a good range of choices on the menu-each dish at our table of 5 was divine as was each dessert. Cannot recommend highly enough.
As a vegan I do find it difficult eating out and have experienced many disgruntled restaurant staff/owners who find vegans 'difficult ' and 'annoying '. At La Casina last night I enjoyed yet another wonderful gnocchi meal which was veganised for me without any hesitation or issues. Such a breath of fresh air! The lovely chef came to our table to ask if we were happy with or meals and specifically asked me how my vegan meal was. My meal was simply delicious and I will be recommending La Casina to my fellow vegan friends. Thanks to the beautiful chef and her team
If you love the experience of authentic Italian food and great service, value for money and genuine Italian hospitality then this is the place to dine. Would dine here again without a second thought. Highly recommend.
We had a 4 night stay in Dunsborough, dined at La Casina 2 of those nights. Amazing staff who 'knew their stuff '. Every single dish was amazing. The Italian wine recommended by our waiter was superb. A must to visit!!
Beautiful food, amazing Italian wine and wonderful atmosphere! Our favourite place to eat down south!
