First off I booked the reservation through OpenTable and when we got there the hostess told us they didn't take reservations. We were then handed a buzzer and told it would be minutes. The food is really overpriced for sports bar food, burgers are between and dollars for just a burger and fries which will not be cooked to your liking. The server was ok. Overall I would not recommend but we ate there out of necessity. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about National Pastime Sports Grill Gaylord National:
They ruined my experience of the mlb all star game. They literally cut the game off when the bartenders friends came in and wanted to listen to loud music. This was in total disregard for their paying customers who were in the middle of watching the game. View all feedback.
I decided to go to National Pastime with my husband on Valentine's Day. We usually go to more romantic restaurants, but this time I wanted something fun and different. We had a great time. My husband loves sports and really enjoyed the giant wall-sized TVs near our table. It made his night. Thank you so much.
On New Year's Eve, the service at the restaurant was terrible. The hostess staff seemed confused about reservations, and our waitress disappeared halfway through our meal. Another waitress eventually took our credit card, but she took a long time to return it to us. It took her 10 minutes to come back with the card after walking around and waiting on other tables.
Our first time here. It is located in the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor in Maryland. The restaurant is a typical sports bar with many TV 's, good beer list and good burgers. The only issue we had is that the place was very busy which normally would not be a problem because we had a reservation with Open Table. However, when we got there the hostess said we usually take only walk in reservations so we will put you on the list . When I showed her my phone with the Open Table confirmation, she said you will be jumping over 30 people and would not tell me how long the wait would be. We took our pager and had a seat. Luckily, we only waited a few minutes for the table. Apparently a manager told her to honor our reservation.
They didn't have our OpenTable restaurant, which was not appreciated given their hour wait at the time. They did seat us though. I couldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone though, unless you just want to watch sports on big screen TVs and don't care what you eat. The menu is very, very limited and if it's crowded, your food won't be cooked all the way. If you're at National Harbor, there are several better places to go.
Great sports screens. Food's really decent. Service is nice. Really great specialty drinks. One of the spots always high on our list!
