I recently had lunch and a kind of mini reunion with friends, and I must give a shoutout to the new owners of Fiesta Pinoy (formerly Pinoy Fiesta). They have completely revitalized the restaurant with an expanded space and fresh decor. The menu is fantastic! The food was absolutely delightful, featuring authentic Filipino dishes with a unique twist that reflects the owners' signature style. The owners themselves are... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Fiesta Pinoy:
Not sure if there is a change of ownership but service and food is different. I used to love their menudo here but today it was just a blah.....like something I cook (actually overcooked) at home and put in the ref and then serve it the next day..,..and so are the rest of the food on display.... sorry I didn't and nothing special today.... They had a good selection of Filipino dishes and desserts.
This place was called pinoy fiesta, they changed it on here to fiesta pinoy. The service used to be pleasant, unfortunately it's very rude now. The woman who works there with the somewhat bleached blonde hair and face that looks like she's tried to bleach it, is especially rude. No hello, and she acts like she doesn't understand what you want. She likes to pretend she's more Important than she is. Careful too, she makes up her own prices and overcharges people. I've seen her do it to others and to me. She doesn't realize I've been coming here for many many years and I know the prices. The old and the the new prices. Plus the menu shows the prices, and she still thinks she's sneaky by overcharging. I don't argue, i just pay her the overcharge amount. Maybe she needs the few little extra dollars for more face and hair bleaching. The Ginataang Bilo Bilo is watery now and not nearly as good. The last time I came there were lots of FLYS, so I didn't buy anything that wasn't hot. I also reheated when I got home. I WILL NOT COME HERE AGAIN. RUDE SERVICE, FLYS, FOOD NOT AS GOOD AS BEFORE, OVERCHARGING CUSTOMERS. WHY BOTHER !?!? Fire or train the rude woman with the bleached out hair, she lacks what it takes to serve the public, go back to your quality food, STOP making up prices and get rid of the flys, so gross.
This restaurant truly deserves more appreciation for their lechon kawali. It's not just good; it's absolutely worth the drive and arguably the best in San Diego, if not the whole state! Having grown up enjoying the finest bagnet from Laoag, I can say my standards are quite high.
