The chef came to our table and was very knowledgeable. She explained that they have a dedicated area in the kitchen for preparing gluten-free pasta. Even though it’s a family-style restaurant, they happily made me an individual-sized portion, which was still quite generous! The pasta was delightful; I had the Penne a la vodka with added sausage. What User doesn't like about Carmines:
Four pieces of cut bread were removed for our three gluten-free diners. The gluten-free options included shrimp (both red and white) and bolognese. However, the portion of pasta with bolognese was much smaller than we anticipated, so I would recommend ordering more if you decide to try it. View all feedback.
The chef came to the table to explain GF options, I ordered the Bolognese (meat) sauce with the penne pasta. It was good. Also, the chef brought out GF bread.
Very knowledgeable and had chef come to the table. I ordered GF pasta w shrimp, it was delicious! They also brought me udi bread! Great experience!
The chef came out and talked to me about what he could make. Surprised me with some GF bread too! When it was ready he brought it out personally to make sure everything was ok.
Had the GF pasta with bolognese sauce. Was very good and a large portion. Chef came out to discuss options and prepared the meal him self. We will definitely come again and would recommend this place especially if you are trying to feed a large group of kids!
Chef came to discuss gf options. I ordered gf pasta with vodka sauce and it was exceptional! They also brought me gf bread with olive oil and garlic.
