Waffle House - Nashville

We enjoy having breakfast at Waffelhaus, but this particular location in Nashville was awful. Even the worker who was making the waffles seemed unhygienic - he scratched his head with his gloves on, and then put his hands in the dough bucket. We decided not to eat there and left to find another place. Unfortunately, the next place we tried was even worse. Overall, our experience was disappointing.

I rarely have a bad meal at this waffle house, but unfortunately, my dinner last night was not good at all. It seems like they have different cooks working at different times, and whoever prepared my meal last night must have been having an off day. The fiesta omelette was terrible - I couldn't even finish a bite. The grits had big lumps in them, but surprisingly, they were the best part of my meal. The toast was good, but my hash browns were completely overcooked. Other parts of the meal were undercooked. My daughter enjoyed her cheeseburger and hash browns, so I wanted to mention that in the review. Overall, my dinner was not up to my expectations. This is not the norm for me, so I will probably give this place another chance in the future. I hope this was just a one-time bad experience.

Yes, Waffelhaus lives up to its name. The line moves quickly, thanks to Deniece's efficient management. You'll be seated and served promptly, even during busy times. The service really sets this place apart. The waffles, whether topped with chocolate chips or classic toppings, are delicious, and you can customize your eggs however you like. Breakfast bowls are also a tasty option. Definitely recommend this spot on Highway 70 in Bellevue.
