After eating in several nashville restaurants in the last week tansuo was our favorite. the general tso huh was amazing. our server was exceptional! we're back!
One of the most amazing foods from nashville, fantastic service, beautiful environment that they do not have for a great night in music city top tansuo. tiffany was our waitress and she was on every need and brought a fun attitude and first class service. we had to start the shrimp rangoon and chili oil dumplings and both were excellent. for entrees we shared the Taiwanese seared ahi tuna, general tso’s chicken and kung pao cauliflower. everyone was so good, none of us could choose a favorite. these articles have four adult full. also the brussels spouts of general tso are not to be missed. the drink selection was also good, and the decoration of the place is really unique, we love to hang all the laternen from the deck. a truly unique and top-notch place to dinner in nashville.
A lot has changed since we were there last. no more peking escape what they were known for. big disappointment. the service was very slow. not what we expected for a birthday party.
We were there on the early side of NYE, and had a comfortably horseshoe booth in the center of the restaurant.. and there were only two of us. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive enough without being overbearing. The dishes and cocktails are delicious. I particularly enjoyed my Lucky Cherry cocktail, Nashville hot chicken wontons, and duck two ways. Enjoy!
We started with the chili oil dumplings, which were just okay—not the best we've had—and they lacked the spiciness one would anticipate from a dish featuring chili oil. We then shared the General Tso's chicken and Dan Dan noodles, both of which were very disappointing. The chicken had an off-putting flavor and was more chewy than crunchy, while the Dan Dan noodles tasted like a cheap packaged meal (despite containing chili oil, which we could barely taste). Overall, I might consider returning for happy hour if they offer it again, but based on the quality of the food and the price, I don’t plan to come back or recommend it to friends.
