Was Bernard Bernier at Kitchen Notes a mag?
I like Kitchen Notes even more now that I've eaten there for brunch! The buffet was great (there's an omelet station, and you can ask for a waffle), and they had $5 mimosas. I ate there with a party of 11 for my day-after-wedding brunch, and I appreciated that they allowed me to call ahead for a reservation. The price was still steep, but the service and food made up for it. Our server did a great job managing a... View all feedback.
What Alyce Fisher dislikes about Kitchen Notes:
The bread was really flavorful with the assorted jams and honey butter. The mixed drinks were a bit on the hard side, but still good. We had the pork belly to start and it was fabulous. My wife's $18 chicken pot pie was burnt and bland at best after it finally arrived along with my tepid $36 strip steak and fries probably after about 30 minutes. The service was slow. I had to ask to have plates cleared.

Enjoyed the Sunday brunch! Such a cute restaurant and the homemade biscuits were delish. Our server, Rasha, made the experience memorable. She encouraged us to take advantage of the made-to-order items that were part of the brunch, was thoughtful, friendly, and even came up with the idea of surprising the dads in our group with a Father’s Day toast . Thank you, Rasha! Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was very good. Service was not. We came in around 1:15. Yes, we knew that seating stopped/closed at 2:00, but normal restaurants usually will have no issue seating someone at 1:15 or even 1:30 in my experience because many take the attitude of?We stop seating at 2 technically?. The hostess hesitated and looked at us like she wasn?t going to seat us (the restaurant onlyhad about 3 tables with customers. I said 2, please. She huffed audibly and took us to a table. Our order was taken about 5minutes or so later, which was reasonable, but you could tell they were in a hurry to go ahead and get our order in. So weordered. Both of us had finished about half of our beverages before the food came but no one asked if we?d like refills. Ok, nobiggie; we assumed someone would refill them later. Our food comes and we begin eating and we finish our drinks off abouthalfway through our meal. It took about an hour from ordering to getting our check?no refills ever. The server finally checkedon us and I said I?d like some more to drink. He said ok and a few minutes later we get our check but still never got a refillso I never even finished my meal. The server was very nice and apologized and didn?t charge us for drinks but at that point I?dhave rather paid and had my drink. Again, food was great but service all around was VERY lacking.
In the lobby of Omni hotel. Biscuit is good while waiting food. People are nice and food is very nice for brunch.
I had the shrimp and grits. The grits were slightly thicker than I prefer but still good none the less, needed a tad bit more seasoning for my liking. The mimosas were pretty good as well
Food was very good! Service was okay. Had to go get our own plates to share an appetizer because nobody was around.
For an $80 breakfast (2 people) I really expected more. The waitress had an awful attitude and the ?cast iron waffle? was just a regular box mix waffle with simple syrup. The prime rib hash had hominy in it which was very strange, and the orange juicetasted like Sunny D. Not the breakfast you?d expect at a hotel like this, and certainly not at this price.

This was my first time to eat here I thought that the food was excellent when considering that I arrived at Easter buffet late I just called last minute and they said when I arrive before 2:00 they will serve us and they will not break the buffet. The whole food was great and menu nice, I wish they had served some cakes and traditional cakes that are not so beautiful, they also need a fried chicken on the menu and some warm cheese for the grottos. Overall the price and the food matched. Try the breakfast buffet soon. Great server and wonderful customer service
Amazing breakfast buffet. The staff was wonderful. We brought a new couple and the waiter went beyond his way to make them feel special. Very recommended!
Yummy! It was on the expensive side, but my husband and I both thought it was worth it. We had a chicken pancake and the shrimps and grits. Both were fantastic, we would go back when we returned to Nashville and we would highly recommend it. The cookies were also great! We would like to have breakfast here!
Great breakfast buffet! The gravitation is to die, the brown sugar biscuits with honey peanut butter were only heavenly. Great place! This will be added to our list of Must-Eat sites!
Awesome breakfast buffet! Surprised that kids buffet was only 7 bucks! Mine was full priced at $23, kind of high, but well worth it for the quality and service! I especially didn't mind that my child had the exact same buffet, ate more than me, and paid a lot less. #yougetwhatyoupayfor #illbebackdefinitely
