During my visit to see my son, I had the pleasure of trying Audrey’s menu for the first time, and it was excellent. I really admired the dried wildflowers hanging from the ceiling, and the booth with its rich green fabric was incredibly soft and comfortable. The atmosphere felt truly unique and welcoming. With my son working in the industry, I've been to many great places, and what often distinguishes the best is the staff's commitment to creating a memorable experience. Audrey exceeded that expectation perfectly. Our server, Mark, was exceptional and made our visit even more special. Thanks to the entire team for an outstanding experience. We had been eager to try Audrey, a popular spot in East Nashville, and finally made it for a Saturday dinner. We booked our table online about two weeks in advance—definitely recommend reserving early here. The entrance and check-in area felt intimate and almost secretive, giving a sense of exclusivity and privacy. However, once inside, the vibe shifted to warm, open, and inviting, with a casual family-style setup centered around a spacious open kitchen. The ambiance was upscale without being pretentious—elegant yet approachable. Audrey’s menu changes daily and never repeats, featuring seasonal ingredients sourced directly from their partner farms, which we found exciting. Drinks: - Rose Wood (beer): Crisp and citrusy with a slight tartness—slightly sour for my taste but still enjoyable. - Golden Down (beer): Exactly my preference—light, refreshing, and clean, perfect for a warm summer evening. Food: - Bear Creek Farm Pork: The highlight of the night. The pork tenderloin was perfectly cooked, likely slow-roasted, accompanied by roasted carrots. Juicy, tender, and seasoned flawlessly with a sprinkle of sea salt that added a delightful crunch and burst of flavor. Every component on the plate worked in harmony, and we couldn’t get enough. - Bertha’s Bread: Soft and fluffy, served with ultra-smooth honey butter. The crust’s slight crunch and saltiness made every bite especially enjoyable. Simple but executed to perfection. - Beef Tartare: This dish featured a distinctive twist. Topped with crispy fried onions that provided a satisfying crunch and salty punch, it paired beautifully with the flavorful ground beef beneath. The toast on the side balanced the saltiness and tied the dish together. Easily one of the best tartares we’ve had in town. Overall, dining at Audrey was an exceptional experience. Each dish felt thoughtfully crafted and seasonal, and the entire evening—from the atmosphere to the food—was outstanding. We’re already looking forward to returning soon to explore the new menu offerings.
