Our 4th time here whilst travelling Dubbo to Noosa leg of our drives. Food is fantastic and reasonably priced. Good selections on the menu and great value for money. Even have gluten free toast for my yummy poached eggs. Staff are really great and there's plenty of seating. Don't be discouraged when you first walk in and see all the people at the counter. I saw the great reviews on Trip Advisor with lots of gluten free options, but on arrival, I found there is a new chef. I chose Salmon Steak special and was delighted when I found the Salmon was stuffed with semi dried tomatoes spinach leaves; very tasty although the salad not as good as I expected; a bit lacking in taste, nice but not spectacular but maybe my expectations were too high for a lunch special at $15! Great service, nice breaky and coffee was just what we needed.
We came for lunch on the way through and were very happy with the food, drinks and service. We shared the breakfast eggs (all day breakfast) and it was delicious, though definitely a two person meal! The meals are very large and I'd recommend sharing one unless you're a big eater, there was a lot of food wasted at the tables around us. Our coffee and hot chocolate were made quickly and were tasty too.
The service was friendly and efficient, however, I was very disappointed with the meal. The "Two eggs of your choice" were very small, and it cost an extra $4 to have them scrambled. The bacon was completely burnt! The coffee was decent though.
I went to this restaurant wanting breakfast. The girl took my order before a larger group behind me. I waited 30 minutes with no food. They forgot to put my order through, which was a disgraceful service. I walked out after paying for a coffee and juice. I will never go there again. They are useless.
