I saw the menu with little understanding and did not notice a menu...del dia. When I asked the owner if there was one, he answered no, but he would put one for me. the result was exceptional and economical. he produced a generous brot and what seemed like a massive ensalada rus. the second cursor was two large cuts and a generous amount of french french french fries. all were excellently prepared, including one last posture, a wonderful flan with a whipped cream pyramid. the owner was very hospitable. the walls are decorated with small colorful portraits of customers by a local artist, and the meson is decorated with regional artifacts. there was a steady flow of natives at the bar. I was the only diner, but it was early in the Spanish evening. the owner called my taxi and we had a conversation and I could wait outside for his arrival.
