After reasonable entrees I had Cote d 'Agneau two very small overcooked and dry cutlets and three others without any meat at all. After complaining the...waitress explained that 's how lamb cutlets are in France she was however polite but offered a replacement (too late for that), a free drink, or finally 5 Euro reduction on the bill pretty poor options for very poor food. Main course was served with luke warm pasta hardly 5 star rating on cuisine or service.

On a quiet evening in October there really was no other reason to be wandering along a street full of closed shops with shutters down... There 's a reasonably...small menu, always a good thing and then there was a meal of the day. I decided against the starter, partly due to having had a big lunch and partly due to cost. For my main I had what was really steak and chips with a bit of posh gravy and some fresh veg. It was fine, could have done with more of the very tasty sauce.. My partner had the veggie option for both starter and main and enjoyed both. She decided not to have dessert, but then 'helped ' me it mine. But who could blame her? A plate of chocolate pudding, ice cream, orange flavoured wafers... The place is good, seemed a little expensive, but with the pound so weak at the moment, where isn 't?

Either the taste is a bit bland with the different spices cancelling each other out, or one dominates completely with strange result. Overall expensive as well. The service was also...very poorly informed. It is strange today with so many allergies to ask whether there is anything from the sea in a dish get the answer no and then find parts of a shrimp in it! In addition, to sell Grimbergen as a craft beer bière artisanal is really a bit much...
