Lomandras - Narangba

On many occasions, i've walked up for lunch or breakfast. The service has always been great, and it's a nice relaxed atmosphere. The food is well priced!

Have had lunch there a few times. Food is always good. Staff sometimes get overrun if they get plenty of walk ins.

We needed somewhere local to go and hadn't been here before. The air conditioning was working well on a very hot day, but we chose to sit outside on the deck and weren't hot which was great. The lunch menu is ok, from burgers to fish and chips, salt and pepper calamari, a special of the day (sword fish) and so on. We had the calamari, a thai beef salad (which was too soggy for me), a small burger, the special and an attempt at a gluten free meal. We ordered sides as it was apparent that meals were light on. Our sides were sweet potato fries and chilli wedges (normal wedges with sweet chilli sauce and sour cream). A glass of wine each rounded off the meal.

Booked a table on a Saturday evening at this venue, and was thoroughly disappointed. Such a shame as it could be a great option for a nearby good food venue.The "restaurant" just looks lost and forgotten and was used as a thoroughfare for people going out to smoke from a private wedding they had next door. It has absolutely no ambiance and feels like you really shouldn't be there. Weird. The menu is small with very few choices but is fairly expensive. We were very surprised that my complaint from the first time I visited wasn't acted upon as they were still serving me the Bruchetta with Pesto on, despite the Pesto element not mentioned on the menu. I complained again anyway. Also surprised that the very expensive burger was just that... A burger. No fries of side salad included or even offered when we ordered. Couldn't wait to leave... I won't be returning.

As a Lomandras clubcard member you get offered a free bottle of wine with lunch or dinner in your birthday month. We went for husband's birthday and had a very pleasant lunch. Garlic chiabata was enough for 2 to share. We then had the lamb ragout pie with fries and salad. Very tasty and filling. Salad could have done with a little bit of dressing though. Wine was lovely, we chose red and were given a Rothbury Estate Cab Merlot which was a good drop as the free birthday wine. We have been here for breakfast a few times and always enjoyed our meals. Prices are reasonable, and we felt the meal we had was a good portion size. Menu changes seasonally so always different things to choose from.
