Help the storm. on Friday 3rd mai 2015 our family had arranged after the death of our pop for a version. this was the day of the storm; the hotel to flood. the 4 of us who made it, the curse was a 90-year-old woman in a wheel chair. the workers with all their problems could still be more than helpful when they look around us. the bar staff, the security man and the manager stayed with us all for the three and a half hours to get a taxi after our car was flooded (later written off) we can thank them enough. maggie reeve, dan mcintosh, john tillack mary tillack

Help thru the storm. On Friday May Our family had arranged to meet for a wake following the death of our Pop. This was the day of the storm; causing the hotel to flood. The of us who made it thru the flood included a year old woman in a wheel chair. The staff with all their problems still managed to be more than helpful in looking after us. I went for a drink here a while back, there is a nice collection of liquor and good service. The variety and service plus availability of dining, and pokies, makes it a good spot. They have some good seating arrangements also. It is within good reach as its within the centre vicinity and makes it easy for visitors who may have mobility issues. Being a vegetarian, there are some options however I will be going for a meal in the next couple of weeks so will write more then.

First visit to Deception Bay Tavern and found the menu to be great. We went for the daily lunch specials which start from $10. I had the chicken burger which was one of the best I have had. My husband had sliders and also loved the flavours. My farther had a seniors steak and although he said the flavours were tasty, the steak was a little tough. In all fairness it was only $16 so you get what you pay for but we had no complaints. Meals were served quickly and the staff friendly. It was quite busy on the day we went. Only improvement I could suggest is the decor and atmosphere of the interior. Although not offensive and it is neat and tidy, it just feels a little bland but would not detract Us from returning again. Recommended. There is a children's indoor play area. Tavern is located at Market Place shopping centre in Deception Bay and has access to Woolworths and other speciality stores.

I went to the Tavern for lunch with my Wife and Daughter we had an excellent meal.My Wife and I go to the Tavern often for a meal and so far we haven't had a bad meal .
