There were multiple options available and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast sandwich, coffee, and pastries. The ambiance was relaxed and they had excellent COVID safety measures in place with staff wearing masks. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly.
Unfortunately, the dining experience was subpar. Chef Bongo should be ashamed. We ordered the "salatable," which included an over-boiled pasta salad, overly sweet bean salad, and a potato salad flavored with raw curry powder. It was terrible, and I usually enjoy a good curry potato salad. There was also an option for a devoured "salat," which was not appetizing at all. I couldn't eat any of it. The meal cost $20 with the tip included. On the bright side, the water was good. I did enjoy the water, the terrace, and the good company of my friend. It's a shame that the grape leaf was closed.
I was looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy a nice cup of coffee, so I ordered a large coffee and sat outside in my favorite spot. It was a calm moment surrounded by other unique individuals. If I could pick a place to unwind, this would be it! The food options also looked fantastic and are now on my list to try next. Thanks to this place, you will definitely enjoy it!
We were 3 days in naramata and I started every morning with a delicious americano from here. the employees are cordial and welcoming. the terrace is beautiful and a great place to read a book or do something work in the morning. partner had the breakfast sandwich and drove over. the bananenbrot was absolutely perfect! worth a visit!
Dont be deterred from the outside, the way it looks. One of Chef Bongos pop up restaurants in Naramata is a pretty good Bbq spot for dinner. Decent food for a fair price. Good flavour and spices. Highlight was the peanut soup, didnt taste like...peanuts, but the over all flavour was awesome , just the right heat level. Lots a different spicy sauces here and a decent salad bar. Would visit again !
