Granted, we were there 'off season'.....the vibe of the place was calm and easy. Inviting. Both of the barista's that served us during our stay were engaging and conversational, something I enjoy while being served. The coffee and eats were excellent. If you want assembly line service ala Starbucks, you might find the pace a little slow. NARAMATA encourages just the opposite and this little shop fits right in! View all feedback.
What Elizabeth Reichert doesn't like about Village Grounds:
Had a great dinner via Chef Bongo the barbeque with 4 salads. Very flavourful, unexpected treat for a small town restaurant. At breakfast we made our order and something different came out (errors made by staff on both our orders). Mistakes happen... no problem. But then another staff person approached us and told us what we ordered (incorrectly) but they would accommodate our change. Am surprised that owners/staff w... View all feedback.
It's tough to find a place to grab an early breakfast in Naramata- this place doesn't open until 8:30 and we had already hit the mountain bike trails at 7 am. The breakfast sandwich was very tasty and 2 for $8 was a good deal. The coffee hit the spot as well. Only downside was that the washroom really needed a good cleaning.
Took a short detour out of Penticton to check out Naramata. After a visit to the beach we found Village Grounds. What a great find. Nice garden setting. Friendly service. Excellent latte along with banana bread and carrot muffin. Super people
For the last week I walked over to NeverMatters Cafe for my morning latte. Within 3 days the barista (and owner) remembered my order. The muffins were freshly baked each day with a different fruit each day. The coffee was excellent! I also ate the breakfast bagel, which was just the perfect amount for me. Most of the tables are outside, but that's OK because we had great weather for the entire week. I will definitely return next time I'm in Naramata, B.C.

We love that Naramata had such a great little spot to grab a coffee and a snack. Clean, friendly and fast.
