I was coordinating food for a funeral dinner and Marilyn and the rest of the staff at Nappanee Bakery were extremely helpful and kind, making the process very easy. Not to mention that the food was delicious!
If you ever have the opportunity, be sure to try their mocha cream cookies—they are absolutely delicious!
My husband and I recently enjoyed a weekend getaway in the area and stumbled across this lovely indoor mall. We couldn't resist checking it out, and we were delighted by its charm. The mall features a variety of shops, from antiques to fashion, purses, and jewelry. One shop that truly stood out was the Nappanee Bakery located within the building. Everything there looked incredibly fresh and delicious. I ended up purchasing a loaf of both white and wheat bread, along with a dozen yeast rolls. I must say, those rolls and breads were the most delicious and fresh-tasting I have ever had. I wish I could place an order and have it shipped! If you prefer light and airy bread, this bakery may not be for you, but for those who enjoy dense, hearty bread, you will be thoroughly satisfied. It's simply fantastic! I’m even planning to drive about an hour and a half this weekend just to get more. I did freeze the rolls, and when I thawed them, they tasted just as amazing.
I go there to purchase the wonderful custard pie they make! I don’t even have to ask for it , they just ask me how many? Everyone is wonderful there
Tasty food. Delicious broccoli slaw. Operates kind of like a “food court”, because stores and an antique shop are in the vicinity within the Coppes Commons building. Shoppers can walk freely through the seating area. Enjoyed our casual lunch before exploring the other shops and historical aspects of the building. Had ice cream at adjacent Rocket Science Ice Cream.
