I sat down at a table and ordered a lemon granita, listed at 3 € on the menu pinned on the wall, and 4 € on the handout menu (why the difference? . I was served a fairly good lemon granita, but when I went to pay, I was billed 6 €, and told that lemons are expensive, and that I had sat at a table outside, which implied an overprice. Apparently sitting at a table justified a 100% increase (or a 50% increase with respect to the handout menu . I expected an additional sum of money to pay for sitting, but this is total scam. They're taking abusive advantage of being the only bar in the area.

Very extremely rude staff. Different price for different seats. Rip off. Would not recommend even if it was a last resort

Great little spot for a quick bite to eat whilst walking up to Castel Sant’Elmo. We shared a margarita (only 5€!! and took it to a bench to eat with the view. Delicious pizza. Super friendly staff and so cheap!

My partner and I were exploring Naples when we heard about the viewing point at Belvedere near the Arx Cafe...... so we figured out how to use the local buses and funnicular train and got to the top of the hill in time to see a spectacular sunset over Naples. We weren't ready to leave straight away , so we opted for the cafe with seating on the street close by, which turned out to be Arx Cafe. We planned to have one drink each.......but three Negronis and three whiskeys later, we were still there enjoying the atmosphere and view. The staff were very helpful and it was interesting to see how the cafe owners operate buildings on both sides of the street, which creates a busy little hub of activity with food on one side and drinks on the other. We didn't find the cost too high, but being from Ireland, our sense of value is probably out of balance since things are generally more expensive there than in italy. We did appreciate the snacks that came with the drinks Overall, we would really recommend the Arx Cafe .... especially to anyone who likes figuring out how to travel around foreign cities........in this case, all the travelling (is:walking, bus and funnicular train) were worth it with a massive pay off
