There was an older man worker who was yelling... read more This restaurant is on the water in isle/s of Capri although the address is 219 Capri Boulevard, Naples, FL 34114. There was an older man worker who was yelling at a age 20-ish male employee. Then the male employee was yelling at customers and was then spitting on the ground as he exited the screened area, near the outside tables... Just being honest.

We arri... read more We love the Isles of Capri and were looking for someplace that could seat us without a huge wait on a Sunday for lunch. Pelican Bend was a great option! We arrived and the front door to the restaurant was locked, but the parking lost was mostly full, so we went around to the back tiki hut where we were met by a server. We were directed to pick any seat we liked which is always a little nerve-wracking in a busy place...I always worry we 'll be forgotten or overlooked, but we only waited a few minutes for our server to come over to us with menus and to take some drink orders. Every seat is near the water, which is really nice and there is plenty of space between tables do you don 't feel like you are dining on top of your neighbors which is an issue at a lot of local restaurants. I got the fried seafood platter and chose Fried Shrimp and Fried Fish, with French Fries. My companions got the Hamburger (which smelled so good) and the Shrimp Tacos (a fun and adventurous choice). Everything was delicious, well-cooked and delivered timely. Overall, this was really nice. The food was pretty standard for Marco Island and Isles of Capri, but the location on the water is lovely, the service is friendly, and I will be back!

The staff was incredibly friendly and suggested the fish special, which my wife and one of our friends decided to try. It was absolutely delicious—flaky and perfectly seasoned. I went for the shrimp scampi, which is served without pasta, but I thought it was just right as it was. The dish was generously filled with shrimp, leaving me feeling very satisfied. The homemade salad dressings and the key lime pie were also outstanding.

If you love those crispy bits, simply request that they cook it a bit longer in the pan. You can also sip on a cocktail on their patio, which boasts a beautiful view of the marina, and you might even catch a glimpse of a dolphin!
