Today, I visited the restaurant at 4 PM and was taken aback by how crowded it was. Customers were sitting closely together at the bar, with no one practicing social distancing or wearing masks, despite the ongoing pandemic. I noticed that the people working on their laptops and the bartender were also not wearing masks, which made me feel uncomfortable. As a result, I decided to order my items to go, choosing a raspberry lime mojito and one of each vegan dessert. Unfortunately, the desserts were displayed in a tall, narrow case and I couldn’t see them properly because of the other patrons nearby. The desserts, made by GreenBites, were quite tasty, but the mojito was a disappointment. It tasted terrible and lacked any recognizable flavors, almost like chemicals. I ended up throwing it away. Given this experience, I’m unsure if I will return to this restaurant.
Very chilled and relaxing environment. Really good drinks and knowledgeable bartender that would walk thru the drinks and the effects. Highly recommend coming here, even if kratum is your thing. It's worth checking out even just once. Will definitely beback!
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by how Kava affected me, as it made me smile and feel relaxed. I tried the Snickers cocktail, which I enjoyed, although it was a bit too sweet for my liking. The original Kava drink was fantastic. The service was excellent, and it was evident that the staff are genuinely happy in their roles. As a PhD student in psychology, I recognize how important it is for employees to be happy in order to create a positive experience for customers. I really hope Nectarlab expands to South Bend, Indiana soon, as I appreciate well-decorated establishments.
