The friendliest place that we have ate at in a week. The staff was welcoming from the start. As if they know we can spend our dinning dollars anywhere and they want us to spend those dollars at Mel's. The food matched the service. The gentle giantrunning the grill equally friendly and spun out some terrific breakfast. It will our First meal next we're in Naples FLA.
This is a lovely restaurant with a friendly staff and delicious food. It’s in a great location and offers plenty of parking. The atmosphere could benefit from a little renovation, but the prices are reasonable.
I am impressed. This average looking dinner serves AMAZING food at a nice price. If you are lucky enough you'll get Mrs. Tracy as your server, she's the best. The Greek Island style grouper was just delicious...the combination of tomatoes, olive andspinach will melt anyone's mouth. They also serve grouper in 3 other styles. It came with vegetables and I changed the rice forthe sweet potato fries and they were as good as they get. Before the fish a nice chicken soup is served. The Pesto Salmon wasalso very good. And the kids were happy with a thick cheese burger with sweet potato fries and a grilled chicken with a mashedsweet potato. Desserts were solid. A chocolate ice cream (included in the kids menu), a Creme Brule and a house made key limepie. Overall a very nice experience!
The lobster bisque and chopped salad are outstanding and just the right amount for lunch and a good value!
My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner. I had the chicken kimono, which was my first time ordering chicken at a restaurant, and it was amazing. My husband also really enjoyed his spaghetti pomodoro. Our server forgot to bring the bread, but she realized it before we had to say anything, so it all worked out in the end. Overall, we had a delightful evening out.
