Lobst... read more Gumbo Limbo exists to celebrate the sun, sea, and have enjoyable cocktails. However, the food is just okay to I love this place but they need to fix this. Lobster quesadillas had very little lobster meat, we could barely find the chicken cutlet under the bread. I felt bad for our kind waiter who was striving to deliver Ritz level service through this and was kind enough to remove the quesadilla from the bill and bring desserts. (So nice! On another service related issue, we have been coming to Naples Ritz for 30 years and even married at the Beach House, so we visit often when we’re staying in town. I was saddened to receive poor treatment from the valet who declined to allow us to walk through the lobby to get to Gumbo Limbo because we carried beach towels and bags and were not guests. We explained that we were meeting friends at Gumbo for lunch (isn’t that being a guest? and walking home but he said it was policy. Of course we abided, but the experience was underwhelming.

We ordered the coconut sh... read more We stopped here for a quick bite and to stay out of the rain. The margaritas were okay, not great and they use a pot quality sour mix. We ordered the coconut shrimp based on the servers recommendation, they were your typical frozen coconut shrimp thatyou could get from anywhere and the sauce was not homemade. For all the wonderful reviews I expected more. Also, our server wasslow and I had to track him down to pay the bill. Not likely to return.

I found the drinks to be very boozy which isn?t my choice but the frozen lemonade was pretty good.
