Reviews - Captain Jack's
Reviews summary
Perched on the marina, this lively waterfront bar-restaurant pairs sunset views and live music with fresh seafood and friendly staff. Plates like bacon-wrapped scallops and shrimp shine, sliders and rum buckets please crowds, and a second-floor balcony offers panoramic views. Service is generally warm, though seating waits and occasional order mistakes occur. Cocktails and some menu items can be inconsistent, and live music gets very loud—lending a dive-bar energy that delights some and deters diners seeking quiet. A spirited destination for locals and vacationers alike.

First and only time trying here as I 'm from out of town. The food was great, our waitress, Olivia, was fantastic. We came in at almost 9pm just when the kitchen was closing, mistakenly thinking it closed at 10pm. They still took great care of us. Just aheads up, there are two sets of stairs, and one happens to be an employee entrance. You can 't really tell in the dark. Try notto go the employees entrance, because there may be a local Karen that doesn 't work there waiting to berate you if you makethis honest mistake. She is a vile person, and should be avoided at all costs. Other than that, highly recommend. The baconwrapped scallops are amazing, and the rum bucket is a good time.
Ok. I have to give it some love. I only went for a drink and to tell the owner I finally went. I had a great view of the marina and the sunset. The staff was hustling and very friendly. I had, let's say, more than one coconut margarita. The performer thatnight was fabulous as were the locals I met! Next visit I might try the food!
I went in with very different ideas of what this restaurant would be. I had planned to sit on the outdoor deck but the musician was painfully loud, so we opted to sit indoors. Overall this place had more of a dive bar feel than sit down restaurant. Evenindoors the music was entirely too loud. Overall the food was good but overpriced, and the drinks were not well made. Theservice was pretty good, however we probably waited about 10 minutes to be seated as the hostess was M.I.A. The waitress couldhave been a bit more attentive.
Nice friendly atmosphere with decent food. The sliders were a little heavy for me but definitely delicious. Shrimps were absolutely awesome! Very fresh and you can taste the sea.
Just a quick note: there are two sets of stairs, one of which is an employee entrance that's not easy to spot in the dark. Try to avoid this entrance, as there's a local woman who seems to enjoy confronting people who make this honest mistake. She's quite rude and should be steered clear of. Other than that, I highly recommend this place! The bacon-wrapped scallops were delicious, and the rum bucket was a lot of fun.

Love the sweet chili chili chicken nachos, voodoo buckets and of course our waitress with the awesome eyelashes provides the best service :-D
Excellent service food gets better every year! It is hands down our favorite place!
Best buffalo tenders in town!!! Great location to park boat for lunch or drive in for dinner. They will have anything you need downstairs at the marina to keep you going on the water also!!!
First time at Captain Jacks.. we had great food .Great Service..Great atmosphere.. definitely recommend!
We weren’t quite sure what to expect, but Captain Jack’s completely exceeded our expectations! The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was lively, and the food—wow, the food was amazing. Every dish that came out of the kitchen not only looked delicious but was beautifully presented. It’s not gourmet cuisine, but it’s easily the best pub food I’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely be returning soon.
