Excellent classic Northern Italian food though the short ribs for the pappardelle needed a significantly longer braise but too many of the servers seem wildly out of place in an upscale venue, lacking both knowledge and customer service polish. They're not helped by a wine list that omits vintage years and even many producer names. Glorious vitello tonnato, though.
Walked in on a Friday night and got a table for four with no reservation. The restaurant was festively decorated. Had a few drinks and they were tasty. We ordered the veal ravioli and it was very nice. Also had the red snapper and it was good as well.My son ordered raviolis (I forget the name) and they tasted fine but there were only 8 small raviolis. He was still hungry so healso ordered the Oso Bucco with risotto. It was good, but we’ve had much better. Overall it was pretty good. We will come backagain.
The food and service here is great! We sat outside, it was a little chilly but we preferred being outdoors since the inside of the restaurant had a strong fish smell.
A fantastic experience. Sat at the bar for dinner. Superb service and recommendations from Aceneth (Sophie). Everything we had was delicious, amazingly prepared and presented and the drinks were very well made.
Got a gift certificate for my birthday.Thought we would have a night out. When our order arrived, mine was wrong. We waited quite some time to get our waiter. Meanwhile my wife 's food gets cold and she is upset I don 't have mine and she is not eating.Waiter shows up I tell him the problem and he takes my food away??? What?? After another long wait he asks if he could get meanything? (he does apologize My wife is no longer hungry, her food is cold and I am upset. So I say yes, get me the check. Weboxed up her food (ultimately threw away as we were too upset to eat . So we went home hungry and aggravated and the giftcertificate used up. Mistakes happen, but I 'm sorry is a weak useless statement. What was needed was action(s and moremeaning full apologies. Although I am not the manager, I will now tell this guy what he should have done. First not make us waitso long and then say; Sorry, sir, let me get you the right order and have a glass of wine on us while you wait. (or maybe a freedesert? Mistakes happen. How you handle them shows your expertise or professionalism. The stupid question can I get youanything when I am sitting their with no dinner?? WOW!
